St. Tropez

St Tropez at the French Riviera

Saint-Tropez is a small harbour town at the French Riviera in the Var department. This French coastal town at the Mediterranean coast became famous and the place to be in the 1950s due to Brigitte Bardot. Stroll along the harbour – one of the most expensive places to dock a super yacht and enjoy the yacht and sailing boats. A must do is a coffee or drink at Senequier – overpriced but great for watching people, boats and celebrities. For parking we advise the large parking spot at the port, on your left when entering St. Tropez.

The port of St. Tropez with the million dollar yachts combined with the extravagant shops, many restaurants and terraces makes a visit to St Tropez unforgettable.

Beach clubs  Ramatuelle – Pampelonne changes in 2019

In 2019, the beaches of Ramatuelle were completely overhauled. Brigit Bardot – unofficial patron of Ramatuelle – once said that the beaches of St. Tropez were losing their souls, and the municipality apparently agreed. All beach clubs had to be rebuilt in natural materials and the first strip of beach from the sea was kept free as a public beach. You may miss your favorite beach club now, but the atmosphere has become much more beautiful due to the new requirements.

What disappeared, for example, was Bora Bora – here you will now find the luxury beach club Le 1051 and Bagatelle also left Ramatuelle. Hotel La Réserve took the place of Des Jumeaux and Verde Beach by Yeeels also got a spot on the beach. The beach club at Hotel Byblos is also new. Fortunately our favorites Le Club 55 and Les Palmiers (also totally refurbished) remained.

Also good news is that the beach clubs on the new Pampelonne beach will be open almost all year round so that you can also enjoy lunch on the beach in the early and late season.
