Payment
35% must be paid as a down payment.
The remaining 65% must be paid 8 weeks before arrival.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations up to 8 weeks before the arrival date: cancellation fee 35%
Within 8 weeks before arrival date 100%
If you wish to take out cancellation insurance, you can do so with your own insurance agent.
Arrival and Departure Times
Saturday arrival between 16:00 and 19:00
Saturday departure before 10:00 AM
Late arrival €25 to be paid to our key manager (will be deducted from the deposit)
Key collection
You will receive the key from the key manager upon arrival. She will also give you the gate code. You must call her 2 hours before arrival; she will be waiting for you at the entrance of Domaine Val d’Azur in Valbonne.
Deposit
Upon arrival, you must hand over the security deposit of EUR 750 in cash to the key holders. Linen rental and final cleaning will be deducted from the deposit, which you will receive back at the end of your stay (provided everything is in order).

Van der Valk box spring beds
The following bed layouts are available in the villa:
– 2 x single beds measuring 90 cm by 210 cm with 2 single duvets.
– 4 x single beds measuring 90 cm by 200 cm with 4 single duvets.
– Double sofa bed available.
– travel cot for children (bring your own linen)
Insurance
Unfortunately, burglaries occur quite frequently in the South of France. To protect your property and that of the villa owner, you must always ensure that all shutters, windows, and doors are locked. Not only when you are not at home, but also when you are there and do not have a direct view of certain windows and doors (for example, when you are lying by the pool).
Please note: The villa owners’ insurance in France does not provide coverage for burglaries where it is subsequently discovered that the shutters were not (properly) locked. Even if the windows were properly locked, there is no coverage in that case!! We would like to point out that the owner may hold you liable for any damage not covered by the insurance in such a situation.
Free wireless internet
Our house has free wireless internet. You can find the Wi-Fi code on the modem in the hallway. If you do not get a connection immediately, please do not touch the Live Box itself, as this will disrupt the settings and it will definitely stop working. Unplug it, turn off the computer, and restart everything. Once again, do not touch the Live Box itself. In the event of a thunderstorm, please IMMEDIATELY unplug the wireless internet in the hallway from the power strip. We have had lightning strikes there before.

NB
- The gardener and the pool man come every week. We understand that this infringes on your privacy, but you may not refuse them permission to do their work.
- If you wish to depart earlier or at night, the deposit will be refunded to your account on Saturday, minus the cost of linen and final cleaning. You will not receive this back before departure.
- We try to maintain the house as well as possible, and when things break, we repair them as soon as possible. However, if something malfunctions, you cannot hold us liable. We would appreciate it if you would inform us should you discover any defects in the house so that we can take action.
- Should you require our key manager to come due to your own fault, she will deduct EUR 30.00 from the deposit.
- If you rent linen and it discolors in the wash, our key holder will deduct money for this.
