Antibes Cote d’Azur
Antibes – a charming coastal village at the Cote d’Azur has become famous for its Picasso Museum and the harbour for the superyachts of the rich and famous in Port Vauban. The incredible big yachts are equipped with swimming pools and helicopter decks.
The Picasso Museum is situated in the former seaside Chateau Grimaldi in the old town of Antibes and has been refurbished over the last year. Picasso and his lover Françoise Gilot has lived a year in Antibes in 1946 and used the second floor of the Chateau as his workshop. As a thank you to the Chateau he donated his work made in Antibes for the public to be seen.
