Our apartment in Avenida Panorama Suites in Kaprun offers a very large terrace with a panoramic view of the Kitzsteinhorn. It is set in a quiet location in Kaprun, in the Salzburg region, 1 km from Panorama Schaufelberg. Lechnerberg II is located 1 km from the property. The airport Salzburg W. A. Mozart is 102 km away, but many Dutch also fly to Munich from where it is about 200 km. Choose a scenic route along Kitzbuhel from Munich to Kaprun.

Both the Schmittenhöhe and the Kitzsteinhorn promise pure skiing enjoyment on diverse ski slopes in the midst of snowy mountain landscapes.

Kaprun is a snow-sure ski destination due to the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. Enjoy skiing or snow boarding (3 funparks)  from autumn to late spring on beautiful snowy slopes. In the future, even the regions Zell am See – Kaprun and Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang will be connected by a 10-person gondola. The gondola starts in Viehhofen and arrives at the top of the Salersbachköpfl.

The Kaprun ski area offers up to 61 kilometers ski slopes. Kaprun ski pass is the same ticket as Zell am See, another great ski resort only 15 minutes away. The bulk of Kaprun ski area is above 2000 meters so there are no trees but beautiful wide slopes with excellent snow conditions. The highest point of Kaprun on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier is at 3029m and the middle station is located at 1,976 meters.

3 Funparks at de Kitzsteinhorn

Snowboarders, as well as free-skiers, will love the Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn, which is situated at an altitude of approximately 2,900 metres. This park offers abundant space for you to experiment with new moves. The highlight is Austria’s biggest super-pipe. The half pipe is 160 metres long and 6 metres high. Pipes are not your cup of tea? No problem, just take a seat in the spectators’ area and cheer on the brave skiers.
